We are a group of like minded people, interested in the science, technology, medicine, nanotechnology and biotechnology and IT advancements happening today. Some of our contributors are scientists, some are medics and some are inventors. Some are none of the above but merely interested spectators.
Together, we have banded together to produce this online site where we can publish articles and pieces about all the latest developments in science and technology.
At the moment, we number about half a dozen full time staffers and are not limited to one physical location. We are spread everywhere from Mississippi to Manhattan through to Tokyo!
Our features are written for the general reader with an interest in science and technological breakthroughs, not industry professionals – so we try our best to either cut through the jargon and terminology or explain it where necessary.
If you think that you have a story or an invention that you would like shared with us, we would like to hear about it and if it is appropriate, one of our team will respond to you within forty eight hours to discuss it.
We are still pretty new and are a work in progress, with some of our pages being under construction, but please don’t let that put you off from browsing them.
It will not simply be news that we feature, but also opinions and debate on the topics of the day. One thing that science is not is boring and everyone’s opinions are welcomed on the debates that are to be had around it!
Progress and development has never moved as fast as this before in the history of human beings and neither have the issues of ethics surrounding it.
What are the implications for robots that can learn to learn and then teach others? Is there a danger from genetic modification?
These are only two of the things that we have to contend with in today’s world, but there are many more.
Join us and join the debate!
